Odette Michell Trio

Towards the end of 2019 as Odette found herself performing on increasingly bigger stages, she took the decision to expand the range and depth of her live sound and bring in two other young folk musicians to form a brand new trio that could take the live show to the next level.

Odette enlisted Worthing-based Rory Innerd, a skilful fiddle and mandolin player with an innate feel for traditional folk music, and Alex Duncalf, a versatlie cellist from Oxford.

Together, the three of them deliver a powerful new depth to Odette’s songs - one moment capable of delivering a sensitively performed fiddle, guitar and cello ballad; the next, a powerful original folk tune on the bouzouki, cello and mandolin.

Performing a selection of original songs from Odette’s critically acclaimed debut album ‘The Wildest Rose’, alongside well chosen traditional folk pieces interpreted uniquely in their own way, this is a must-watch new trio, combining the skills of three top musicians alongside Odette’s breathtaking songs and vocals.
