Odette Michell is an award-winning British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a rich foothold in the folk tradition.

Things have been moving at something of a pace for Odette ever since she released her 2018 debut EP 'By Way Of Night'. One year on, Odette's debut album 'The Wildest Rose' was released to wide acclaim, gaining Odette extensive air play on both BBC Radio and international Folk Radio, followed by a string of live interviews and an extensive tour launched in the spring of 2019.

Since then Odette has gone on to win Female Artist of The Year at the FATEA Awards, has appeared at Celtic Connections as part of the Danny Kyle open stage, was touted as R2 Magazine's 'Top Pick for 2020', and has performed alongside the likes of Show Of Hands and Seth Lakeman, as well as opening for folk legends Martin Carthy, Phil Beer, Boo Hewerdine, Nancy Kerr and Reg Meuross to name but a few.

Odette is currently touring both solo and as a duo with accompaniment from BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award Finalist Charlie Wild, as well as with her two new trio collaborations The Honeybees and Michell, Pfeiffer & Kulesh.
A dynamic and prolific live performer, Odette accompanies herself on guitar, bouzouki and accordion. Her enchanting live shows are often punctuated with stories and her good humour and her voice has been described as "warm, intelligent and sitting comfortably amidst folk guitar in a timeless songwriting style"...
